For the festive season, Caran d’Ache unveils Toile de Jouy - Geneva Edition, an exclusive collection that reinterprets the art of illustrated narrative scenes.Born from a dialogue between French tradition and Swiss identity, this edition transforms Geneva, the birthplace of the Maison, into a poetic motif drawn in fine ink. The lake, gardens, historic architecture and natural elements intertwine in a delicate composition, like an illustrated stroll through the heart of the city. Through this motif, Geneva reveals itself through finely drawn scenes inspired by the spirit of Toile de Jouy. More than an illustration, the décor expresses the DNA of Caran d’Ache: precision of line, mastery of the stroke, intensity of colour and the emotion of writing. The collection unfolds across a selection of writing instruments conceived as objects to gift, collect or pass on.
Crafted in Caran d’Ache’s workshops, it showcases the richness of the Maison’s savoir-faire, from colour expertise to the most demanding finishes, from guillochage and lacquering to the meticulous assembly of each writing instrument. Presented in ivory gift boxes accented with burgundy or blue tones, Toile de Jouy - Geneva Edition celebrates the timeless elegance of Caran d’Ache: a meeting of heritage and contemporary creation.
