What is "half towel handkerchief"?

Although they are highly absorbent, they are bulky when folded. The new handkerchief is half the size (25cm x 12.5cm) of the traditional square towel handkerchief. The folded structure with a crease in the centre makes the towel handkerchiefs less bulky even when folded. Tanaka Sangyo's half-towel handkerchiefs are not bulky even when folded.
The design was officially registered by the Japan Patent Office in 2012. It fits neatly into the pocket of a suit, uniform, bag, or a small nook at your desk.
